Surunkali buyrak yetishmovchiligi metabolik buzilishlar, jumladan folat almashinuvi o’zgarishi bilan kechadi. Folat yetishmovchiligi gomosistein oshishi, kamqonlik va yurak-qon tomir xavfi ortishiga olib keladi. Tadqiqotda 50 nafar bemorda folat, gomosistein va biokimyoviy ko‘rsatkichlar o‘rganildi. Folat pasayishi kreatinin va gomosistein bilan bevosita bog‘liqligi aniqlandi.
