Mazkur maqolada yechilmaydigan protezlardan uzoq muddat foydalanuvchi shaxslarning og‘iz bo‘shlig‘i anatomo-funksional holatini kompleks baholashning ilmiy-nazariy asoslari tahlil qilinadi. Zamonaviy ortopedik stomatologiyada metall-keramika, to‘liq keramik va sirkoniy asosli konstruksiyalar keng qo‘llanilmoqda. Biroq protezlarning uzoq muddatli funksional ta’siri periodontal to‘qimalar, alveolyar suyak, chakka-pastki jag‘ bo‘g‘imi, chaynash mushaklari va og‘iz shilliq qavatida morfofunksional o‘zgarishlarga olib kelishi mumkin. Tadqiqotda xalqaro ilmiy bazalardagi maqolalar, klinik kuzatuvlar va dissertatsiya ishlari asosida protezlardan 5 yildan ortiq foydalanish natijasida yuzaga keladigan o‘zgarishlar tizimli ravishda o‘rganildi. Statistik ma’lumotlarga ko‘ra, 5–10 yil davomida foydalanilgan doimiy ko‘prik protezlarida periodontal yallig‘lanish ko‘rsatkichlari 32–47% hollarda aniqlanadi, marjinal suyak rezorbsiyasi esa o‘rtacha 0,8–1,6 mm ni tashkil etadi. Okkluzion yuklamaning notekis taqsimlanishi esa temporomandibulyar disfunktsiyalar xavfini 18–24% gacha oshiradi. Maqolada anatomo-funksional baholash mezonlari, gigiyenik indekslar, rentgenologik tahlil va elektromiografik tekshiruvlarning ahamiyati yoritilgan. Kompleks yondashuv protezlarning uzoq muddatli prognozini aniqlash, asoratlarni erta tashxislash va reabilitatsiya samaradorligini oshirish imkonini beradi.
