Yo‘g‘on ichak va to‘g‘ri ichak saratoni dunyo miqyosida eng keng tarqalgan yomon xulqli o‘smalardan biri bo‘lib, kasallanish ko‘rsatkichlarining ortib borayotgani, yuqori o‘lim darajasi hamda murakkab ko‘p omilli etiologiyasi sababli jamoat salomatligi uchun jiddiy muammo hisoblanmoqda. Ushbu ilmiy maqolada yo‘g‘on ichak va to‘g‘ri ichak saratoni klinik, epidemiologik va statistik dalillar asosida keng qamrovli ilmiy tahlil qilindi. Tadqiqotda saraton biologiyasining asosiy tushunchalari, saratonning asosiy tasniflari hamda kolorektal o‘smalarning anatomik va patologik xususiyatlari yoritilgan. Etiologik omillar, molekulyar va hujayraviy patogenez, klinik belgilari, yoshga bog‘liq taqsimlanishi hamda Mustaqil Davlatlar Hamdo‘stligi(MDH) va O‘zbekistonni o‘z ichiga olgan mintaqaviy epidemiologik xususiyatlarga alohida e’tibor qaratilgan. Endoskopiya, tasvirlash usullari va laborator biomarkerlarni o‘z ichiga olgan zamonaviy diagnostik imkoniyatlarning roli tanqidiy baholanadi. Natijalar chop etilgan ilmiy maqolalar, statistik agentlik va tashkilotlar ma’nbalari, tizimli sharhlar va dissertatsiyalar asosida shakllantirilgan. Muhokama qismida nazariy va empirik dalillar birlashtirilib, xavfni baholash, tendensiyalar hamda erta aniqlash va oldini olish istiqbollari yoritildi. Ushbu tadqiqot yo‘g‘on ichak va to‘g‘ri ichak saratonini global va mintaqaviy miqyosdagi muhim insoniyat muammosi sifatida chuqurroq anglashga xizmat qiladi
