Maqolada havo sifati boʻyicha ogohlantirish tizimlarining (Havo sifati indeksi — AQI — asosidagi ogohlantirishlar) respirator kasalliklar profilaktikasidagi samaradorligi xalqaro ilmiy dalillar asosida tizimli-analitik sharh shaklida baholangan. Samaradorlik uch darajada — ogohlantirishlarga rioya qilish va himoya xulq-atvori, ifloslanish taʼsirini kamaytirish hamda respirator hodisalar (tez yordamga murojaatlar, gospitalizatsiya) darajasida — tahlil qilindi. Toronto aholisi (taxminan 2,6 mln kishi, 2003–2012) misolidagi kvazi-eksperimental tadqiqotda ogohlantirish eʼlon qilingan kunlari astma bilan bogʻliq shoshilinch murojaatlar 25% ga kamaygan, boshqa natijalar boʻyicha ishonchli farq aniqlanmagan. Ogohlantirishlarga rioya qilish darajasi koʻpincha yetarli emasligi koʻrsatildi. Toshkent va Fargʻona vodiysi sharoitida ogohlantirish tizimini shifokorlar faoliyati bilan bogʻlash, zaif guruhlarga yoʻnaltirilgan va JSST 2021 tavsiyalariga asoslangan pogʻonali tizim joriy etish hamda uning samaradorligini mahalliy maʼlumotlarda baholash tavsiya etiladi.
