Virusli gepatitlar bilan bog‘liq sirrozlarda yallig‘lanish va fibrogenez uzoq davom etuvchi jarayon sifatida kechadi. Alkogol etiologiyasida esa gepatotsitlar toksik shikastlanishi, oksidlovchi stress va metabolik buzilishlarning birgalikdagi ta’siri klinik holatning tezroq og‘irlashishiga olib kelishi mumkin. Amaliyotda Chayld–Pyu tasnifi jigar funksional zaxirasini baholashda keng qo‘llansa, MELD va MELD-Na ko‘rsatkichlari qisqa muddatli prognozni aniqlashda muhimdir. Ushbu mezonlarning etiologik guruhlar kesimida qiyosiy tahlili individual kuzatuv taktikasini tanlash imkonini beradi.
