Abstract

This study evaluates the clinical course of labor and perinatal outcomes in pregnancies complicated by oligohydramnios. Particular attention was given to the effects of reduced amniotic fluid volume on labor progression, fetal condition, mode of delivery, and early neonatal adaptation. The analysis showed that oligohydramnios may be associated with a higher frequency of labor induction, non-reassuring fetal heart rate patterns, meconium-stained amniotic fluid, and operative delivery. The findings emphasize the importance of timely diagnosis, antenatal surveillance, continuous assessment of fetal well-being, and individualized obstetric management to reduce adverse perinatal outcomes
