Mazkur maqolada inson va sut emizuvchilar siydik nayining (ureter) anatomik, gistologik, ultrastrukturaviy, morfometrik hamda morfofunksional xususiyatlari adabiyotlar asosida tizimli ravishda tahlil qilindi. Siydik nayi devorining shilliq, mushak va adventitsial qavatlari, uroteliyning himoya va regeneratsion xususiyatlari, mushak apparatining peristaltik transportdagi roli, qon tomir va nerv ta’minoti, ekstrasellyulyar matriks hamda yoshga bog‘liq o‘zgarishlar yoritildi. Shuningdek, baliqlardan sut emizuvchilargacha bo‘lgan filogenetik rivojlanish jarayonida siydik transport tizimining morfofunksional takomillashuvi ko‘rib chiqildi. Tahlil natijalari ureterogidronefrozda dastlab kompensator gipertrofiya va proliferativ javob, keyinchalik ekstrasellyulyar matriks va kollagen to‘planishi, fibroz, skleroz hamda kontraktil faollikning pasayishi bilan kechuvchi qayta qurilish yuz berishini ko‘rsatadi [5, 8, 9]. Mavjud manbalarda ayniqsa ureterning qorin, chanoq va intramural segmentlaridagi o‘zgarishlarning vaqt dinamikasi va qavatlararo morfometrik munosabatlarini kompleks baholash masalasi yetarli darajada yoritilmagan [2, 3, 11, 12].
