Abstract

This article examines modern approaches to preventing postoperative complications in maxillofacial surgery. It focuses on risk factors, infection prevention, postoperative pain management, wound healing, and patient monitoring. The importance of preoperative assessment, aseptic and antiseptic techniques, rational antibiotic prophylaxis, and individualized rehabilitation is discussed. Modern diagnostic technologies, including computed tomography and three-dimensional imaging, are also considered. A comprehensive, evidence-based approach can improve patient safety, support functional recovery, and reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
